"The Awodi Drumming Program is different in many ways than Native culture, but they have some of the same drumming traditions. I believe that bringing cultures together is what we need in these times of turmoil.
I think without a doubt, that this program can work with any culture or ethnic group. This program is interactive and teaches by storytelling. I would recommend this drumming program to any group that wants diversity in their communities. We are planning future endeavors with [the Hawk Foundation] in an effort to bring Native and African culture [together] for a cultural exchange."
