African International Development Initiative
The Hawk Foundation’s International Development work advances education, cultural preservation, and holistic healing through African-led partnerships that strengthen communities and institutions across the continent. Our initiatives focus on rebuilding cultural and educational infrastructure, supporting artistic and historical preservation, and advancing trauma-informed healing approaches grounded in Indigenous knowledge systems.

In West Africa, The Hawk Foundation has established formal partnerships with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and is actively collaborating with local government leaders in Oyo State on an economic and cultural sustainability initiative designed to strengthen the region’s artistic and cultural economy. This work has received the blessing and approval of His Imperial Majesty, the Ooni of Ife—the supreme traditional ruler of the Yoruba Nation—affirming the cultural legitimacy and community-rooted nature of our preservation efforts in Southwest Nigeria. Through these partnerships, The Hawk Foundation is contributing to long-term cultural restoration, educational development, and institutional healing in regions historically impacted by colonial disruption.
